Yet again, we have a record number of private houses and gardens open under our Invitation to View scheme. We have just broken through the half century barrier to list 51 houses throughout East Anglia. Those devoted Invitation to View fans longing to add more notches on their ITV bows will be delighted to see five new houses in this brochure: Beeleigh Abbey, Braxted Park, Kirstead Hall, Hilborough House and Rippington Manor. Saxham Hall, which had left, now returns.

Invitation to View is a unique East Anglian organisation which allows individuals to form themselves into groups to visit private houses and gardens by appointment and this brochure details times and dates for every property (plus details of refreshments which are a constant feature.) The houses are lived-in family homes, individual and even eccentric. Tours are usually taken by the owners who will reveal secrets, ghosts, cupboards full of skeletons (and clutter).
