Now 58 properties in East Anglia
ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER RECORD (OR TWO)
Invitation to View moves into six eastern counties in 2012 with a record 58 houses to visit (and at least another 14 joining in Devon and Cornwall, see below.) Suffolk, where our organisation started, is still the biggest county with 24 properties, followed by Norfolk with 15, Essex 12 and Cambridgeshire, five. Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire join ItV for the first time, with a house each. The scheme both here and in the West Country allows individuals to make up groups and visit historic houses, often with the owner as guide. It’s a unique formula which continues to expand despite general gloom, thanks to our many fans.
