Barsham Old Hall



Built in C15; later owned by Sir John Suckling, Secretary of State to James I and his son, John, the Cavalier poet. Cromwell stationed cavalry here. Garden has over 600 herbs, with plants for sale. Visit includes Barsham Church with Nelson connections.
Tour approx 5 hours, £18.50 including coffee on arrival, buffet lunch and farewell cup of tea (proceeds to church restorations).
