Bedfield Hall
On a remote, moated site next to C11 church (included in tour), the manor house dates from mid-C15. Inside are rooms with C17 painted sufaces and enriched plastered ceilings. Kitchen ceiling has anti-witchcraft symbols. Owners are an artist and architectural historian. Five bridges connect the two-acre garden.
Tour approx 2½ hours, £14 including including tea/coffee, home-made cakes and biscuits. 12th night tour £20 with Twelfth cake and C17 banquet confectionery.
