The 350-acre park is enclosed by a three and a half mile wall built in 1696. The central part of the house is early C18. In 1895 Anne Crawley's ancestors enlarged it, adding an extra floor and extending the two wings. The gardens, covering 15 acres, have been lovingly created by Mrs Crawley.
