Manor House Farm

Standing alongside the tiny village church, the house and farm were sold by the Holkham Estate between the wars and acquired by the present owners in 1966. They have, over the years, transformed it into a beautiful country house with a garden that has featured on the front cover of the N.G.S. yellow book and in the national and international press.
The house was built in the early 1800s in Holkham brick onto some existing cottages, which are much older.
The old stables and a cartshed have been converted into accommodation for B&B guests and self-catering holidays and won the Breckland Award for the conversion.
Tour two to two and a half hours, £13.50 including tea and cakes. Accommodation.
