The Manor House, Warboys

Situated next to the church, it is a mid-15th century two-storeyed brick house, built for the Abbot of Ramsey, and subsequently a Cromwell family home. In 1593, three villagers were executed for allegedly bewitching the lessee's daughters. Extended by Sir John Leman after 1622. It is essentially unchanged since then.
