Fabulous tour of the gardens at Netherhall Manor in Soham today. Flowers that go back hundreds of years - really special specimens. Then an interesting talk on music and the special rectangular grand piano and Dr Taylor even played us some music too. Afterwards we were spoilt with tea, sandwiches and home made cakes ... We spent a wonderful afternoon with the owner. He told us all of his family history and we had a delicious afternoon tea. He took us around his amazing garden which had many rare plants dating back to Victorian times.
Netherhall Manor is in Tanners Lane. Entering Soham from Newmarket, Tanners Lane is second right, 100 yards after the cemetery. Entering Soham from Ely, Tanners Lane is second left after the war memorial.
